Frequently Asked Questions

Acupuncture is applicable for a wide variety of health issues.
Some conditions I’ve successfully treated are:
Allergies and asthma, alpha-gal, chronic digestive problems, emotional issues and anxiety, infertility (men and women), menstrual cycle irregularities, neurological disorders, neuropathy, pediatric complaints, and much more.
-
Acupuncture generally does not hurt. You may feel a pinch or a quick, light prick when a needle is inserted. The needles used are much smaller than those used during a shot or a blood test and they are not hollow, so the sensation is much less than during those procedures. Most people feel a dull ache, warmth, or tingling instead of sharp pain.
-
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Many acupuncture points are located on the arms, legs, back, and abdomen, so wearing a loose-fitting shirt and shorts makes access easier.
-
The number of acupuncture sessions varies based on the condition being treated, its severity, how long the issues has been a problem, and how your body responds to the treatment. Some people feel noticeable relief after just one session, while others require multiple visits over weeks or months to achieve lasting results.
